I got to hand cut the stringers. I measured everything out with a framing square. It was all very confusing and then it just clicked, so that’s nice.

    I live where there is frost, it’s shifting no matter how well you did the base. It’s unlikely to be a problem, especially with how small it is. But it’s also fixable with screwing a board on the inside like a double stinger.

    Even melting snow can refreeze and put pressure on the front, since that could be the only place melting.
