It’s fucking August.
People like to talk about the war on Christmas but like to forget that Christmas started the war
The current front to the war on Christmas is Halloween. Thanksgiving has been lost. Stand strong Halloween, we gluttons fight with you.
History is written by the tiny elf hands of the victors.
Nestlé can fuck right of too, albeit for very different reasons.
Best so far was a Supermarket in Berlin last year. They had Christmas stuff in store in the first half of July.
They had a good reason, though. The stuff had been ordered for photo-shootings for ads and catalogues. Instead of throwing the leftovers away, they simply sold them.
Saw the same thing in Morrisons last Friday. Fuck Nestle.
What is ASDA? I’m Australian and I guess by a lot of people’s standards also old, so not sure if I should know what that means.
ASDA is a European grocery chain owned and operated by Walmart IIRC.
No longer owned by Walmart these days, got bought out via a leveraged buyout and is currently sinking in debt. Used to work there and all stores are running skeleton crews.
Cheers mate.
So did they release Christmas snacks early, or are they selling old food?
Both!
Halfway to the point of being able to just leave them up year-round!
Tell that to my HOA!
Merry Christmas!
Protect your cylinder, brother
Hate to say it but some people like this. I know my Auntie will be thinking about all this shit now. She likes to enjoy the Christmas time and have everything ready by early November.
