    Even back then the social media appearance was more important than the relationship.

    (not saying all women are like that, but we all know a lot are)

        Nope, just commenting on the characteristic look that is seen on YT and the like now. Has nothing to do with the actual painting and subject.

        But to answer the question, why couldn’t she be the painter?

          I’m not sure what your comment means then. Modern day women are showing off for social media, yes, men also do this so it’s weird you single women out, but fine.

          But that comparison only makes sense if you’re assuming the subjects of this painting also created the painting, which is how social media works, you’re taking selfies and stuff to show off yourself and your idealized life.

          To answer your even stranger follow up question: If she was the painter, then she was an unusually skilled painter for her apparent age.
