Good, fantastic actually. I have been on holiday through rhe Ukraine. Last year I was in Kyiv and Odesa, and was hooked. This year I have been in Lviv, Kharkiv, Zaporozhzhia and Odesa, and had so much fun… Bit dodgy with glide bombs in Zaporizhzhia, but its such a beautiful land, with great people. Through them I have learnt to see the beauty through the horror.
It’s great to see such good news from Ukraine. Take care friend and thanks for sharing this with us.
This weekend was my second date with a really sweet guy! I cannot remember ever feeling so alive.
Yayy!!! :)))
I love this for you
Good for you! Wishing you all the best moving forward.
Parenthood is going alright. I love my child!! But damn I wish he loved sleeping as much as he loves staring at me with those laserbeam eyes at 4 am, lol.
Watching a lot of TV suddenly while my son naps on me, hadn’t expected that but it’s cool to finally watch some shows and movies I didn’t have time for before.
Back to work next Thursday so that’s kind of scary. I hope everything will go okay at home.
Came out to my parents as non binary, that’s a big one :) and before my 30th bday which is nice (was a goal of mine). They were very supportive and understanding and not upset with me at all that it took me so long to share with them (I’ve known for over 3 years now).
So yeah eventful week!
Not bad! Not getting much writing done. I have an article due for my own subatack Monday and some freelance work, and it’s a bit much right now. But its fun to write about Disney World as a case of enshitification. Having an absolute blast looking in digital archives.
One of my favorite YT channels is shutting down, video game historian. Sad.
Dead lifted 145kg (320 in pounds) and was so happy! Keeping my bad knee from needing a replacement by weight lifting, following ortho advice, and cycling.
I recently got a used Raspberry Pi and I’ve been looking at sensors and accessories available for it. Just to start poking around, I’ve picked up a temperature and humidity sensor, some LEDs, jumper cables, and resistors to play around with.
I got Arch Linux set up on the Pi serving a page, and I’ve gotten a script running hourly to get readings and populate the page with the last x set of readings. With the page I’m using Chart.js to render a plot.
