For around 10 years i have been promising myself i will assign a day and i will sort the screws. I think i am now too afraid as i will have to find the odd stragglers of my fav ones that have depleted over the years.
I I think I want to sort them mentally but I always end up rifling through by colour materiel etc. always stab my hand. I think maybe when I retire I’ll do that 🤣

For the screws apparently what happens if you do it long enough is that you aquire a sifting pan for well sifting through your screws.

Ahh yeah I have mine separated into machine and other screws. At least mostly separated.
