The sad thing is they don’t even have the common decency to go bust and fail. They learned from 2008 they can just have the Government/tax payer subsidize their losses. While they keep their profits.
Knew a guy who said he was descended from some European family that had been nobility and they used arranged marriages to strategically change sides during major conflicts; thus maintaining their wealth/status for centuries.
I have my doubts about his heritage but I don’t doubt that rich people did/do this kind of shit.
