I’m so disappointed it from THAT album… maybe the music sucks because the focus is, misery the lyrics are trying to convey? My brain kinda focuses on the music vs the lyrics so the Final Cut is a very hard album to enjoy, but maybe there’s more to it…
…it’s not their most accessible album - it really demands immersive, focused listening to fully appreciate, and it takes several listens in the right frame of mind to really click - but once it clicks, it’s their greatest album…

Oh I know… I honestly find the half of the Wall that sounds similar to the Final Cut very unpleasant too, I much prefer Atom Heart Mother or Meddle, but I’m not hearing the lyrics, just the music.
