That’s… that’s not creativity though. You just typed a prompt, not made the thing yourself. It’s the polar opposite of being creative, you outsourced the joy of being creative to a machine that doesn’t understand what creativity even is.
All of the joy of being creative comes not just from the initial spark, but from the entire process. The fun and joy I get when I draw my pixel art comes from the whole experience. Not from the idea that I started with. The challenges and obstacles add to the experience, cutting them out makes it a hollow, meaningless thing.
All for what? Some instant gratification that you get because it can spit out some slop quickly? Slop that you will instantly forget about since you had no real role in its creation? People like you make a mockery of art and the creative process.

Yes? Turns out people really like when other people complain about things, that’s why those are her most popular. It’s the whole reason social media works the way it does.
I’ve used local ai audio/video generation as a similar creative outlet. It’s really fun to mess around with.
Don’t worry about the haters. Those people would claim that a director of a movie isn’t doing any “creative” work, because the director just “prompts” the actors to give a good performance. Not to mention making a bunch of creative decisions about the script, dialog, shot composition, set design, color grading, music, sound design, editing, etc.
I used Sora to quickly develop a video for a skit or to see if something can be done via AI.
I used Sora as an outlet for my creativity. Now we have Veo and Meta
lmao.
Big “I made this” meme energy on that one
Typing “make a video” in an AI promptis to creativity what calling an uber eats from macdonalds is to cooking skills.

Have you made a song or a video using AI before?
I yes the old tired argument of “you haven’t done it before so you don’t know.”
I thought we outgrew that one in 5th grade.
No I haven’t either, I don’t know what’s involved in AI-ing your way to a song like this:

Gabi Belle did a brilliant deep dive on the topic if you’re interested here
does she do any videos outside of X is bad videos?

well i mean, she’s clearly not about to post a video on how amazing ai music is is she?
her channel and popularity is linked to being a doomer so that is what she will produce regardless of the topic
the fact that her own mother couldn’t tell the difference between real music and ai generated music suggests something as well
