    I think trying to bend the definition to make it fit the word isn’t worth discussing: it’s all semantics. We both know what has been happening.

    And you can’t make a blanket statement about “all media” based on the few you have seen in one country with a heavily biased view.

    I’m less emotional and more pragmatic. I try to stick to whatever facts we do know and not make assumptions that are more based on my feelings than on reality. That does mean “we” don’t know a lot of the terrible stuff that is going on, and that does mean ignoring some sources if they seem heavily biased. Even though there may be some truth in what they’re reporting, it will always be worse than a credible fact-driven (and not emotion-driven) news source.
