I dunno, sometimes I want to see discussion about something I’ve already seen, but don’t want to see again. I watched the video the day of, and will gladly talk or joke about it, I just want to choose when and where I refresh my memory of it.
Tangentially, I wish the devs would let me turn off autoplaying gifs, for similar reasons lol.

Unfortunately, I can’t collapse individual comments, it collapses the whole thread.
After such a thing you probably don’t want to see the follow-ups anyway. But I’ll keep that in mind.
