As pointed out in the article itself, it’s NOT an ACCUSATION of “spying”, she’s decrying the FACT that Bondi was caught live on camera at a public hearing with the smoking gun printout!

I understand the context but I like to imagine Bondi thought she was looking at that lady’s internet search history and not her search of the Epstein files. It’s funny to picture Bondi sitting there waiting for her to say something about pedophiles so she could respond “oh yeah, if you’re so concerned about pedophiles why were you Googling this:”
Then reading the first item in that list which seems to say
“New Brazilian just arrived. Sexy and cute. 13 yo”
I mean, accusations are typically made when you have evidence of wrongdoing.
They’re not wrong, the Representative did accuse her of it. The fact that the evidence is known doesn’t change that.
That’s technically true but at the same time narratively dishonest: the weaselly part is that the headline takes pains to turn the self evidently obvious into a subjective accusation that may or may not be true as far as anyone knows.
It’s the same thing the NYT does every time one of the foremost experts on human rights conclusively states that Israel is committing crimes against humanity and it’s more than halfway between responsible journalism and 1984 style abject disavowal of your own lying eyes.
