Whenever the USPS Informed Delivery e-mail tells me I’ve got “multiple pieces of mail that isn’t imaged” it usually tells me out of all of the mail I’d get, one of them is going to be bad. Usually it is, like times I’ve gotten delayed citations in the mail mixed with junk mail.

On my way to an election site (US 2024) I ran over a cardinal. I knew then it was gonna be bad.
One time there was an empty grassy field which was not a city park, and to make that clear — without engendering the local hostility that “no trespassing” would — it’s owners put up a sign reading: NO ACTIVITIES OF ANY KIND ALLOWED.
Most ominous sign I ever saw.
So also no not trespassing. Sounds like instructions from ICE.
