Fascist will always back down from a fight that they might lose. In this case it’s a fight of public shaming. The only power they have is the illusion that they have the numbers. They do not.
This is a minor loss for them but it’s a good example of how to defeat them. They need to be put in a place where they cannot retreat. A true loss for fascist is not backing down from a fight. They will just use that as opportunity to show how “reasonable” they are. It’s the same as their fake “reduction” in Minnesota. It’s just serving to try to reduce the resistance.
Never back down and think that things will “go back” to normal. This is the failure of the liberal inside of you. Liberal democracy is dead in America. We are not going back.
