A third round of “No Kings” protests is planned this spring, with organizers saying they’ll be the largest demonstrations yet across the United States. Previous protests have drawn millions of people who took to the streets to oppose what they describe as authoritarianism under President Donald Trump.
Edit: this article kind of sucks. Check https://www.fiftyfifty.one/ for some events. I’m sure there are local organizers in whatever area you are in if you search for them. Listed upcoming events on fiftyfifty.one: January 30th: National Shutdown January 31st: ICE Out of Everywhere February 17th: Impeach, Convict, Remove, Defund March 28th: No Kings
Thanks mushroommunk for the extra info and potter297 for calling out the garbage article.

The 50501 protests have their own uses, both as a method to show others that there are a lot of people who are also angry and upset with things (someone knowing they’re not alone is important to take any further steps), and as a way to ease people not used to activism into becoming an activist, and meeting like minded or more radical people, which hopefully leads toward meaningful organizing within their community, like the methods described under this post.
