My first reactions was that It does look staged, because of how awkward the attack is and her reaction after the attack. Gives me similar vibes as the Trump assasination attempt.

Dont known of many people who would charge their attacker unless they see the attack coming. I certainly would not, I am not a brave person.

Unlike the Trump assasination though, their is no possibility of a “hidden shooter” and someone being setup as the attacker. So that swings it to a real attack for me.

Damn I hate how we have to think these days.

EDIT: to clarify, I don’t think it is fake.

You ever get into a fight in real life? Or have anything like this happen to you where someone tries to attack you? It’s often awkward. It isn’t the movies. People haven’t trained for fifteen years with a sensei before attacking someone else at a public event. The awkwardness is a sign that it’s real instead of that it is staged. And you never know exactly how you’ll behave during something like this until it happens.

Or to put it into song: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=P89X-j-TWVE

I have gotten into a fight yes, my reaction was to back off, the guys grabbed and cornered me, I started fighting back and everyone just sort-of flopped onto the ground before some bystanders assisted. It was super awkward.

I take your point that the attackers actions were realistic due to the awkwardness. Its more her reaction that was unexpected from my perspective. Its not how I would have reacted. I will jump in to defend others, but when I am being attacked, my first reaction is to run.

“I survived war. I’m built different.” -Ilhan after the conference. She likely has very different life experience than you.

It’s called fight or flight reaction for a reason, dude. Apparently, her instinct in this one was fight.

It’s fair to critically analyze things. Regardless of the time, it’s a healthy thing to do, else you get sucked up into the propaganda on either end.

I think this one is real. The guy was super weird and shuffly throughout the video until he finally did it.

How we have to think these days? Dude, that type of thing has been in the political playbook longer than this country has existed.

I agree its always been part of the playbook. I hate the fact that it seems to be the option most likely considered. We are in a post evidence where we have to assume something is fake until there is enough information to prove it is not.
