Gregory Bovino applauded his agents’ actions in Minnesota, despite one citizen being killed by agents.
Border Patrol commander Gregory Bovino on Sunday said his Customs and Border Patrol agents are “the victims” after they shot and killed 37-year-old Alex Pretti in Minnesota. In an interview with CNN’s “State of the Union,” host Dana Bash pointed out that Bovino had repeatedly referred to Pretti as a “suspect” as he defended CBP’s training and de-escalation tactics.
“With respect, it feels as though in some ways you’re blaming the victim here,” Bash said.
Bovino replied, “The victim? The victims are the Border Patrol agents. I’m not blaming the Border Patrol agents. The suspect put himself in that situation.”

They are extremely well funded. Literally more money than most countries’ militaries.
200 billion in the bank. Minus what they spent this year, but I think they are cutting them a new check as we speak. Extracting money from the government is the reason for being for most of congress, most of the executive too for that matter.
Only China and the US spend more than 200 billion on their militaries. These guys will bankrupt the country and de facto default by printing money before they are out of there I fear.
And less trained than your local boy scout troop.
Don’t fall for this narrative, so far the ICE murderers have had an average of 8 years of experience each.
My point stands.
True, especially if you include the
ROTCCub Scouts. Also, FYI it’s just called Scouting now because they accept everyone and aren’t hamstrung by the same troop-ruining insurance agents and greedy capitalist pigs that ruined Girl Scouts.
Yeah I heard they were getting their shit together in the last couple decades. Good for them.
