I don’t have serious discussions with anyone who sincerely believes in American exceptionalism, just like I don’t have serious discussions with fascists. I wouldn’t bother, there is nothing to suggest this person is interested in seriously engaging on this topic. For example they seem to think the number of civilian owned firearms is a determining factor, when it hasn’t even helped the US to avoid fascism in their own country.
