    Didn’t they lack* any clue about simba being a prince, perceiving himself as a patricidal murderer, or the manipulation? I feel like I remember simba guarding that info

      This is also how I recall it. They didn’t find out until after Nala came back in the picture when Simba was all growed up

        Yep, and they were like “holy shit, let’s go do something about it immediately!” Which is the opposite of not giving a fuck about it.
