The Lemmy developers added this pop up within the last year I believe. It’s random, and I think it’s limited to maybe once a year.
Don’t direct your anger at the lemmy.world admins – they’re just running software. If you don’t like them, you don’t like anyone who hosts a Lemmy instance. I run both Lemmy and PieFed, so I’m safe I hope!

Dessalines and Nutomic are hardcore tankies if you didn’t know. They are the reason i am using Piefed instead of Lemmy now and blocked all .ml communities, and i’d rather burn my money before i’d donate to those two asshats.
A community for discussing the shit they do, but being okay to donate to them is like giving Hitler $5. Your take is weird AF dude. If the developers didn’t push their ideology and ban people over wrong think, then maybe they’d get a dollar.
