And yes, due to federation, it’s actually possible to leave if you don’t like it. I thought this community was for making fun of dumb tankie takes, not for getting butthurt when they dare to ask for donations.
Dessalines and Nutomic are hardcore tankies if you didn’t know. They are the reason i am using Piefed instead of Lemmy now and blocked all .ml communities, and i’d rather burn my money before i’d donate to those two asshats.
I know and I hate them for that. But I still see the value in the work they do and I have gratitude. Lack of nuance and campism is what I hate most about tankies and this kinda stuff gives me the same vibes
