Drop is cause for public health concern, but news isn’t all bad as acknowledging struggles is ‘a good sign’, experts say

A record low proportion of Americans rate their mental health as “good” or “excellent” according to a Gallup poll released on Thursday.

The percentage of Americans polled who rated their mental health as “excellent” dropped below 30% for the first time this year while the number who rated their mental health as either “good” or “excellent” also dropped to a record low 72%.

These numbers began trending downward after the Covid-19 pandemic–before 2020, 42% or more Americans consistently rated their mental health as “excellent”.

America has given its whole population CPTSD. You can’t hear a car backfiring at Times Square or near a large concert without it making the news. Anyone of millennial-ish age has lived through more “once in a lifetime” events than anyone else, and it’s obvious our politicians only view people as a resource to be exploited and drained then discarded. The country is literally being run by a pedophile ring that will never hold itself accountable, and the US is the ridicule of the world…

    But do go on

I’m honestly terrified of anyone who DOESN’T have mental health problems at this point

As is the plan. They want us sad, they want us desperate and most importantly, they want us at each others’ throats.

If they keep us busy with all this shit, and blaming each other, we won’t take off their heads, is what they hope.

I mean, yeah. Everyone I meet is miserable and anxious. I don’t feel that way myself, which also makes it harder to relate to anyone anymore.

It wasn’t like this 5-10 years ago. People were much more chill and less angry.
