Yup. And my wife was set on the new 4runner SR5. Which was always risky because #1 it’s a turbo, it will always be more unreliable than an NA. With Honda and Nissan keeping their V6s, nissan with their ZF 9speed auto trans on Pathfinder, Frontier, Armada and Titan. Honda with their Honda 10speed auto and also keeping V6 on Pilot and Passport. It’s a tough choice between the two.

I’m with you. After that stupid stunt, I will look at the Nissan, Honda and Mazda selection. Toyota is scratched off the list.
