I don’t get it. Why would I say my favorite game is Battletoads? Now, if they had posted a screenshot, asking what game this was, yeah, then it’s obviously Battletoads.
The meme really got traction when 4chan spammed GameStops across the world asking if they had copies of Battletoads because it was their favorite game. I had actually forgotten that it originally was a response to people trying to figure out what an old game they could not remember was called (like the old “Sandstorm by Darude” meme) until reading your comment. lol
