For now sure. I doubt the killer will get away with it forever, and even if he does, I won’t be shocked if someday we found out that it was just a hunter, who escaped into the local desert/woods/mountains whatever is near that town.
I have little faith in cops in general to do the right job, and with the amount of confusion, “We got him!” “No we didn’t!” “We got him!” “Also not this guy!” on the scene it’s not astounding that the shooter wasn’t caught immediately, at least to me anyway.

Make no mistake someone is going down for this. I get the sense they have no idea who it was so they are just gonna pick someone up after awhile.
