  • I am not saying that she deserves to be in danger, but if you’re going to donate money to her, please remember that she is a registered Republican and she’s even run for a Senate seat as an ® in Louisiana back in 2009, so make certain that she’s worth your money over other causes you could be giving to right now. Just because she’s against Trump doesn’t mean she’s on our side.

At best she’s a grifter. Being a porn star and a Republican Senate candidate in 2009 is a bold move, and sleeping with Donald Trump is pretty nasty.

Pivoting strait to “For the Love of DILFs” just felt like a cheap cash grab, but also follows the pattern of a grifter using reality TV to make fast cash, and an LGBT-friendly dating show immediately after scoring points on the left for humiliating Trump just screams grift to me…

  • They like people like Lenin and Stalin.

It’s a wakeup call for a lot of young people when they start to recognize the absurdity of anti-communist propaganda, but a lot of kids swing too far the other direction and figure all the bad things they’ve ever heard about history’s worst communist leaders are lies.

It doesn’t mean that Communism is uniquely bad, but these men were violent tyrants who don’t share values with most mainstream western leftists today.

Some never grow up and say dumb shit like that radical gender expression was common in the USSR or something…

  • I don’t see any evidence that this product line is intended only for rich people. Things are generally more expensive in the early adopter stage, and Apple doesn’t make anything that they don’t want to see widely adopted.

The original iPod held 5GB and cost $400 ($700 in 2024 dollars).

The original iPhone came in a 4GB and an 8GB model that cost $500-600 ($700-800 in 2024).

The iPod is gone, replaced by the ubiquity of the iPhone that it evolved into. The cheapest iPhone today is the SE at $430 and it wildly outperforms the original hardware.

If you want an MP3 player with as close to the specs to the original iPod as you can find, you can get one for about $20, and it still outperforms the original iPod.

If the Apple Vision line is successful, I expect to see $20 generic VR headsets that blow everything we currently have out of the water by 2040.
