There’s only like 5 of those in this area (Seattle). The rest are Cyber trucks.

So I work with public utilities / co-ops (different from private utilities). One of the challenges I consistently see is the utilities are handed a bunch of regulations without the funding to adequately support them. This strikes me as similar. Lineman safety is a real concern. I suspect it could be mitigated, but those mitigations probably come with a cost. The easiest fix is to fund lineman safety measures in the bill.

I mean, anyone can take the time and effort to pretty up for their partner. I suspect it would be appreciated 👍
I’m like 97% sure that this sport started on a dare.

Are you in the PNW? I wonder if there are safer places to forage than others.

I live in the PNW, where there are several varieties of poisonous mushrooms, including death caps. Apparently people can safely forage for mushrooms - but it scares the crap out of me because of the exact scenario in this article.

Was it his trigger finger? Because at this point I think that’s self-defense

This move is probably one that makes me the most hopeful. Most leaders mask the shitshow they’ve inherited out of some sort of misguided effort to be polite or not drag their preticessor through the mud. Clearly articulating the mess opens the door for Mamdani to make more dramatic changes and probably more quickly (having established some urgency). I was on the fence about his actual ability to execute - but I’m excited I could be wrong.
I think of him more like the next John McAfee.

The onion is shockingly insightful.

Throw back to the Onion news video about that cloud thing everyone is talking about. https://theonion.com/hp-offers-that-cloud-thing-everyone-is-talking-about-1819595260/
This was solved 6 years ago. 😉

Ahh, I see. I could not afford food in 2009. So they are probably the same.
I lived through 2009. No thanks.
I’m pretty sure the car in the top picture is a Lada Samara made by AvtoVAZ, which was a company started in the 60s as a project between Fiat and the USSR. And the first car it made was a slightly modified and rebadged Fiat 124. So, I’m not sure you can claim capitalism wasn’t involved.
Romance books are known for being filthy.
They don’t cover the whole state - just the Puget Sound area and not all of that is electrcity. We have a bunch of PUDs, which is a far superior model in my mind. I’d be willing to organize to get PSE out.
