But during the same time the NSA was operating under a 6 hop rule for sweeping cell phones and operators at Langley were notorious for copying off photos from random cellphones that they could access too. The 6 hops rule let them get a secret warrant to remotely search a phone if someone is a contact of a contact of a contact of a contact of a contact of a contact who’s a suspected terrorist.
