Thanks for your answer. I wasn’t sure what “you have cable” exactly meant, but after seeing BrightCandle’s comment I looked at my ISP contract and it mentions VDSL 50, so I guess I don’t need a separate modem then.

Thanks for your answer! I wasn’t sure about the whole “Cable / FTTH / DSL” issue, but checked my ISP contract and it mentions VDSL 50, so I guess I’m on DSL and don’t need a separate modem. I’m in Europe, by the way (might be relevant to different technologies and devices available), I’ll update the post now to add that.

It can also run LineageOS, iodéOS and /e/ OS at least, so there are a few options for a degoogled OS with this phone.

The sad things is that has worked for it* in the past, so of course it* will keep on using that strategy.
* I use the pronoun it because I believe in using the correct pronouns for everyone and refuse to address that piece of shit as a human being

Brilliant! It’s just a pity the credits ended before getting to the “No future” part, given that this was meant to celebrate the UK’s departure from the EU.

the 10th Doctor, played by David Tennant
Georgia Moffett is the IRL daughter of Peter Davison, who played the 5th Doctor
Tennant and Moffet eventually got married
Also the 5th Doctor is the 10th Doctor’s IRL step-father
Isn’t the 5th Doctor the 10th Doctor’s IRL father in law (not stepfather)? Or did I get lost in this labyrinth and miss something?

I would say that being part of the solution is not using their service at all.

Honest question: do people really think that attacking a third world country, thousands of kilometres away from your home, that hasn’t attacked you, is “serving their country”?
We’re not talking about defending yourself from an invading attack, but going far away to invade a foreign country.

VLC, either on mobile or on desktop, can’t go wrong with VLC.

OK, thanks for the explanation. So basically “nonce = used once”

Excuse me if this a stupid question (I’m not a native English speaker), but isn’t that what “once” means?

They aren’t having kids because this weather is not normal: climate change is bringing extreme weather that is already causing big problems and will only become worse in the future.
Don’t be an idiot and pretend you didn’t know that’s what they meant.

Ey! My GP’s notes don’t mention I wasn’t smoking weed. I’ll have to ask them to include it next time.

Thanks for the clarification

Could you please explain what Kopub is? I cannot find information online: is it a jailbreak method? an app that can be installed after jailbreak? Do you have a link?

I’m on the same boat as you (except on a pretty old Kindle Touch), and I still don’t know if it’s worth for me. It seems like people will lose the ability to connect to Amazon’s servers and will lose the books they bought from them.
But for us who don’t get our books from Amazon and just transfer them using Calibre: are there any big advantages?

Most music is pretty medicore
medicore? I have heard of metalcore, must be related. But there area many other genres! classical, jazz, blues, folk, pop, Rock & Roll, funk, disco, electronic… it’s not most metalcore (and probably not medicore either, whatever that is).

This! Open source, private (doesn’t ever attempt to connect to the internet), simple, no bullshit. Available not only on F-Droid not also on the Play Store and as direct APK download from GitHub:
Could that be OneMarcFifty?
