    Edit: ok an actual response. A ton of the energy of fascism is about weird homoerotic tension.

    Look at Fuentes and Carlson. These guys have gaydar cross sections the size of an aircraft carrier, and spend huge amounts of time raging about trans women, drag, gay sex, while they have trans girl porn open on the next browser.

    Look at the absolutely insane shit that the groypers go through to convince themselves that hooking up with each other is straight (and the grooming they do to get people to “operate” as surrogate women).

    Look at actual fascist art, it’s all about young cis white muscular healthy men with good skin and no shirt. You know, PRIDE.

    Sun Tzu pointed out that you can easily train men to fear shame more than death. That’s what this is playing on. Any kind of submission, any kind of kindness or vulnerability, is shame. And that combination of simultaneously denouncing something publicly while shamefully doing it in private is really really good at keeping people in line. Hell, Epstein got away with that shit for decades in large part because of that pattern
