You could hammer 100 little tack/nails into a board and hang them vertically. They’d be a lot longer vertically then they are wide, so you could do like 25 across x 4 down. You could maybe even still keep the plastic sleeves on them.
Or find a big donut shaped pillow, with the same diameter as a neck, and put all them on it?
I weigh 175lbs naked, but you really can’t trust those grocery store scales.
Common misconception. There’s still PLENTY you can do, as long as your circuit’s not dead, and there’s not something wrong.
We definitely are seeing things faster than 24 Hz, or we wouldn’t be able to tell a difference in refresh rates above that.
Edit: I don’t think we have a digital, on-off refresh rate of our vision, so fps doesn’t exactly apply. Our brain does turn the ongoing stream of sensory data from our eyes into our vision “video”, but compared to digital screen refresh rates, we can definitely tell a difference between 24 and say 60 fps.
Same, thanks a lot English. I was like “so, is he like $4 million more than the $6 million dollar man?”
You say that life isn’t a movie. Then you say that people who need full auto have a “skill issue”? Christ dude, life isn’t CSGO either. You’re right that many shooters probably aren’t that skilled, but the takeaway here is that makes full auto more lethal in their hands, not that they need to git gud.
“The order requires county employees to notify any voter whose mail-in ballot is rejected because of an error — such as a missing signature or missing handwritten date — so that the voter has an opportunity to challenge the decision.”
Sorry, I’ll stop.
I really like the safety aspect of this, but 72% capacity after 300 cycles seems low. What’s a use case scenario where this is preferable over lipo batteries?
I think I just don’t think about it until it’s happening, and then it’s too late.
Guh, that took me a minute to parse. State tries to stop ruling that stopped law that stops people from stopping pregnancies.
Ahh, the ole reddit switcharoo
Just what Big Street wants you to think…
If it’s boring and generic, how is it also nonsense? That seems contradictory to me, but maybe I don’t understand.
I like Wolfie’s Just Fine’s song about this exact experience https://youtu.be/qG8iAtpavK4?si=VzTW2qGWlJ7Lg9f0
Don’t worry about it too much. I don’t think this current trend will completely overtake the word “weird”, but even if it does, you’ll still be good-weird, Republicans will still be bad-weird, and people will know the difference, no matter what we call those things.
I feel like there might be an emerging market for a car company that makes new, safe cars with very low tech computer systems.
Ah who am I kidding, I wish there was a market for all kinds of functional-but-not-enshittified products out there, but the complete lack of them shows the entrenched powers that be will stomp out any attempt to upset the terrible status quo.
Game, Outer Wilds Movie, Everything Everywhere All At Once
There was/is a recent lawsuit against Google for paying other browsers to make google the default search engine, and I think it was ruled against Google. And that payment is like 81% of Mozilla’s income. So if they have to stop those payments, Mozilla’s is gonna have to find some other ways to make money or cut back massively on their budget. So while I don’t like ads, if Mozilla has to do this to stay around, I’ll support them. If I got any facts wrong here, someone please correct me.
