Maglite flashlights are big, heavy and durable and are usually standard issue to police. They make for very effective bludgeons which cops have clearly rarely had qualms about beating black people.

I hold myself to slightly higher standards. I’m not above insulting and throwing toxicity back, but I am honest about it to stop it from undercutting my argumentation.

I’d say Quaternions are necessary purely because they avoid gimbal locking common with 3 axis Euler rotations.

I know in Blender all other rotation options are really just quaterinions under the hood. But an advantage Euler rotations have over quaternions is continuous rotation. I can set 2 key frames with linear extrapolation and have them just continue along each axis forever. Everything quaternion ideally should be bounded to the 4d unit circle.

Do everything you can to help the people affected by the policies that isn’t direct violent confrontation. Direct confrontation will be used as an excuse to crack down harder. Warn others of ICE presence, help people get out of an area quickly and safely, defend people being attacked, record the interactions, never be the aggressor against ICE. Its tragic but Alex Pretti and Nicole Goode have become rallying symbols and examples of the awful behavior of ICE. Yes there is a dedicated online effort to smear them, and there are still people countering the messaging. If you find that you’re in a position where simple sabotage is possible, do it.

Make peace with the fact that helping others is a dangerous proposition, and only you can decide what you are capable of doing and how much you’re willing to risk.

It doesnt take a brilliant tactician to use abuse baiting to provoke a retaliation from the abused to justify ramping up violence against the abused. Even the most pudding brained inbred moron can do that.
