Watch the Strange Parts videos, I wouldn’t be too confident about that

I have an Ender 3, it works much better than this printer. Watch Strange Parts on YouTube, he was sent a review printer and couldn’t get it to print despite being on call with the inventor/CEO himself for hours to debug it. Also, Ender 3 had a fire risk with the bed power/PSU connector too.

From the CEOs perspective, doing this he can at least get the Kickstarter backers their money back since they likely couldn’t get the printer to a good state given all the issues.

The whole ecosystem here in the West doesn’t favour starting up. It’s not easy to do it in China either, but the whole supply chain is there (as such also the knowledge/support) and the business environment makes it more likely for it to happen there.

Agreed, and don’t forget how important it is how much cheaper skilled labor is in China.

They were in a very tough position, their printer was having major quality control issues, I think they probably needed money.

Certifications cannot verify creativity, it’s why they’re kind of useless for a lot of IT(and I suppose other engineering fields). Security like QA requires exploring unique paths that other people wouldn’t have thought of

I’d expect to be able to go to the phone company and get information on who she’s been talking to. I’d expect to be able to get records to prove harassment or bullying, too.

I know that’s the reality, but I would not expect that at all. Do you also expect you can call your ISP and get a list of all the sites your kid went to?

I’ve stayed in a lot of different hotels, sometimes the best in the city. Sometimes just meh.

I really think you have this backwards- at least in my experience. I wonder if you’re just staying in nicer hotels when you’re on vacation.

The breads, hams and cheeses of a continental but also heated cloches of eggs, bacon, sausage, hash browns etc. Also it’s served from about 7.30 to 10.30

And all of them stale because they keep changing them out for a week. The biggest thing missing is most european hotels don’t have waffle makers- or if they do they’re missing syrup. One hotel I stayed at put the syrup next to their stale pancakes, and nutella next to the waffle maker- they had it very backwards.

I’m a freelance software dev, you just made me realized I should vacation on a schedule so I have some variety in my life.

Strongly disagree, I’ve stayed in a fair few hotels around the world. Best are usually US or Asia(not China)
