Scottish Police Service. Turns out peeling back the curtain of the worse side of people isn’t conducive to good mental health for me so I got outta there.

I have found ChatGPT to be better than Google for random questions I have, asking for general advice in a whole bunch of things but sido what to go for other sources. I also use it to extrapolate data, come up with scheduling for work (I organise some volunteer shifts) and lots of excel formulae.
I freaking love that movie but actually think it has a lot of depth. It shows a cgi cartoon character dealing with inevitability of death, fragility of life and mortality and value of what’s truly important. Side storylines about families, adoption, forgiveness etc but man does that wolf kill it.
Plot out my vegetable garden to grow my own food next year, declutter the house and drop donated items to charity.
And sleep.
Fuck the lot of them. Shop around for the best deal that doesn’t try to screw you over.
I honestly pop in ‘yo butt’ into our shared shopping list and it usually gets an eye roll.
It’s creeping back in the UK here too. I think hybrid works best for me, can collaborate 2 or 3 times a week and stay at home and be more productive to actually DO the work.
It’s basically the gigachad of the factory world.
Yup they reinvested a lot of the oil money back into their country and population whereas we in the UK (Scotland) had it squandered.
I think he may have been Updog.
When I have company I tend to play the Planet Coaster and Planet Zoo soundtracks or maybe Of Monsters And Men
Honestly I’ve not experienced any on either of them!
Switched from gmail to Protonmail and Outlook to Tuta.io and love it! Companies that put privacy and the individual first.
Yeah but if the toilet has WiFi it automatically shares a pic with anyone in the house so gotta switch that off.
Your grandparents/parents had a whole life before you. Loves, wishes, likes, dislikes. You can ask them about literally any topic in the world and they will probably be happy to talk to you about it. Where was their first holiday? What did they watch on TV, who was their hero, what job did they actually want to do.
One day they will be gone before you if life goes the natural way and it will be too late to ask and you may regret not taking a moment for a chat.
Lots of family and friends still in the service and doing as good a job as they can but for each good one there is no doubt an asshole.
But I can’t speak for cops in other countries, only experience in Scotland.
It was seeing how awful humans are to each other that really sold it for me, I’d rather live in my bubble, thanks.
