Just implying it’s a gender issue is fascist by itself, and sexist. Though the sexism might be warranted if the commenters opinion has good reasoning behind it, the implications of hours of reasoning needed to offer enough information to be used as a basis for the opinion is an admission of being at fault to me.

It shouldn’t be hard to say: I live in a fascist state.

Instead it becomes: I’m a fascist, but here is why it’s not my fault

It is logical. Not a question of deserving at all, nobody stated that. In fact by implying such an emotionally charged veiled accusation during this time of conflict you feel like an agent of some security force to me already, be it conesentual or not.

It’s all about framing and perspective. Zooming in on the individuals will offer perspective from the bottom, but zooming out to your shared responsibilities as a community within your own political climate I am personally surprised not more blood has been shed years ago already
