I don’t have a useful answer, but I commiserate with you. Last time I went to one the lady in the drive through really REALLY tried to keep pushing that coupon book on me. No. I don’t want it. We don’t come by here that often. I don’t care if it’ll save me money now because it won’t in the long run.

Got a call from the school when my oldest was in kindergarten… “Your child just yelled ‘bite my shiny metal ass’ in the library.” I was proud and embarrassed at the same time.

Inside of my left wrist is where I got mine. It’s small enough to be covered by my watch band.

It was summer (90s) and we were all camping at a lake. My sister and I were playing with some kids while my dad was chatting up the other kids’ dad. Just as I was getting out of the water I hear the other dad exclaim “you remind me of a guy I used to know called [name]!” My dad laughs and says “I am [name].” Turns out they used to go to school together decades before.

It’s stuck with me all these years, and has somewhat been turned into an inside joke within our family.

I second 8bitdo. I have the ultimate bluetooth model and I love it. That one can switch between bluetooth and 2.4ghz. Unsure how multiple controllers using the dongles would work though.

I clean my Samsung watch with a wet wipe (the kind you use on human skin - like a baby wipe or “flushable” wipe – which isn’t, never flush those things), and dry the face/underside with a smooth microfiber cloth. The band I have is some form of leather, so yrmv.

My skin can’t stand silicone bands so I stick to metal or leather.

Luke Daniels and Andy Serkis both really bring that extra to the books they narrate.

I have an account on kbin.social, lemmy.world, and sh.itjust.works. They are all linked on my respective profiles. I mainly use this one because .world had some issues where I couldn’t view comments on the connect android app about a year ago so I just switched. I like the app interface because it reminds me of rifgp, so that’s why I’ve never given kbin a fair shake.

I just bought myself a pair of parachute pants! They’re not nearly as loud as the wind breaker suits of the 90s and early 00s, but I love them.
