Thanks for that information. I did not even think about saying it out loud but that makes sense.

I’ve been looking into buy a dash cam but I’m always shocked at how bad the picture quality are on them. Which do you recommend? Would love a decent non-smart dash cam.

My friends and I are trying to. I’m having a heck of a time getting the server going though. Do you know of any good guides? Everything I’m seeing is from years ago and when I follow the guides i keep encountering errors.
Maybe it’s a combination effort? I run pihole but I tell my friends (who aren’t ‘techy’) when best buy has a good deal. Having the 2 forms of suggestion (ads and word of mouth) may give them a boost.
One of those good deals is a 2-year controller coverage (+$10). If a controller gets stick drift (or any other damage including user-inflicted), you can exchange it at no cost if you paid the extra $10. I know stick drift and defects are typically covered under the manufacturer’s warranty but that can be a pain. I sent an elite series 2 controller in 5 times and it was never truly fixed.
With best buys paid extended coverage, I’ve turned in dualsense controller twice now (I’m on my third currently) for a total of $75 USD.
I’m not sure what you mean by ‘personal agenda.’ I’m legitimately trying to have a productive conversation so please don’t take anything said as a personal affront. We’re just trying to express the importance of herd immunity as it stands from expert consensus on the subject.
If you have any studies on herd immunity not being as important, I would love to read through them.
I understand why you trust your advisor. I’m lucky enough to be friends with someone who was a professor of infectious disease, has a PhD in virology and created a vaccine. They are my go to for anything on the subject matter. Again, anything you can share on the topic is greatly appreciated.
They shouldn’t have made a personal attack like that, but they’re not wrong. Herd immunity is needed. Individual vaccination, while helpful, isn’t fool proof. Especially for highly infectious diseases like measles.

I try to even clip mine into a bit of a V (but very subtle; ~10°). Had a friend teach me that in college. It feels weird for a day or two but I haven’t had ingrown nails since.
Thank you. I took half the time just go straight spoonful of peanut butters. I’m going to check out that cinnamon sugar peanut butter!
As a fellow peanut butter aficionado, what are your favorite peanut butter dishes/snacks?
64/78 year round. Occasionally knock it down to 74 in the summer when it’s going to be really hot and the AC unit may not keep up.The house retains heat too well and bakes in the evening sun.
Globally the average life expectancy is ~73.5 so mid/upper 30s is essentially middle aged.
If it helps; my dad was mid 40s when I was born. We have a great relationship. He still would take time to play catch with me and all the general dad things despite being older. You still have plenty of time if you want kids!

How?! How can they stand it themselves and not feel like they’re being blinded?

While I think Linus can be way too whiny at times. I think he handled the situation well if everything stated is true. He made it clear on his forum that they terminated the partnership/sponsorship. He could have made a ‘more public statement (e.g., a video on ltt)’ but as he stated, viewers probably would have raked him over the coals for doing so. It likely would have been perceived as ‘oh no! Honey stole money from me but gave you a discount. Woe is me.’
He still is too whiny as of the last few years but as a small business (very small; ~20 employees) owner myself, I kind of get it. I go out of my way to try to give my employees the best possible experience but sometimes people think I’m just taking advantage of them (despite me paying my full-time employees 1.5x my pre-tax take home rate). So I kind of get why he acts that way at times. Now, I don’t condone it, but I understand.
Edit I love what Steve from GN is doing. I reported the honey extension when this news initially came out. I have supported all his pro consumer reports/actions.

17 C here as well. I used to find it comfortable but as I get older, I’m needing more and more clothes or blankets. I blame my thinning hair.
Plus 1 for Ahoy! So happy he seems to be back making videos a bit more consistently.

IIRC they sold and shipped 2 generations of CPUs that were essentially defective and unrepairable.
Thank you for the tips! That will certainly help me out.
