In the 90s youd go to the record store that had a ticket kiosk. Tickets were 10 to 20 dollars, youd get a printed ticket.

Now it just sucks. Venues add fees, ticketmaster fees double the price, printing fees, sometimes you cant even get the digital ticket until the day of and hope nithing goes wrong.

It all just sucks now.

I go down to my local dive bar and watch some local guys play rock and blues…for tips.

In the 70s, every kid in the he area knew every other kid. The mother’s all knew each other or at least had phone numbers. Weekends and summers we would go play all day, sometimes in 1 house. The whole neighborhood looked out for all of us. If a mother needed to find a kid, just start calling the list of mothers. Regardless,when the streetlights came on, that was the signal to go home.

Every kid played… There was even one kid missing a leg who used a fake limb, we let him at football with the rest of us (granted he played line), but he was one of us.

Gave me the idea to do a FOIA on all flock hits on the mayors car. Simple enough to create a image showing where he goes, how long he stays, patterns, stores he visits, where he eats, his Bluetooth devices,WiFi devices, maybe some MAC addresses.

Smart TVs do not magically connect to your WiFi without credentials.

But I still have an SNES and SF2 and can play it whenever I want. No chance a licensing server rejects me or a lic is flagged invalid in the future.

That’s the difference. I know as long as the hardware works, I can always use that game.

Of course I would pay an extra few dollars tohave media and guarantee a game will install and run even if the internet goes away.
