Don’t feel bad friend, I keep forgetting that it’s not a thing anymore as well
I do a lot of photography and I share it on my deviant art page.
Don’t feel bad friend, I keep forgetting that it’s not a thing anymore as well
Unfortunately it seems every time they come to mind I remember more of their shit too
Hopefully you’re in a better place than the past you that was there for those unlocked memories
That’s the worst part, they never tried to justify it. They never considered it an issue on their part until we (the rest of their friends) brought it to their attention.
They simply lacked the ability to consider others in that regard.
They’re lack of respect for others extended greatly into a while shitton of their behaviors. But naturally those behaviors took awhile to surface.
had a friend
Good call on that.
It can be hard to stop associating with someone who you called friend. But sometimes it needs to be done.
I used to have a friend that I’d always have to pick up when we would hang out at my place (they didn’t have a car). Either I’d pick them up or a mutual friend would who was also hanging out that day. We both had the same routine for the guy without a car.
We’d text them 30 minutes before we left saying we were leaving in 30 minutes, text them when we left (which was a 20 minute drive), and then we’d text them when we got there. They’d not be ready for 30 minutes or more a lot of the time. Eventually we told them that if we wait 10 minutes we’re leaving without them and not hanging out that day.
The first time I left without them I got a text an hour and a half later from them saying that they just came out and wanted to know where I parked. Literally 90 fucking minutes after I left they messaged me. The text that they sent me when I got there was “Awesome! Be right out.” And they expected me to wait 90 fucking minutes for them after that.
We left without them over a dozen times (not consecutively) before we stopped hanging out with them for different but related reasons. A complete lack of mutual respect and a complete lack of respect from them towards others.
I haven’t spoken to them in years and it still makes my blood boil at times thinking about them.
The main issue with using batteries for load balancing is the massive resource investment required for them at a grid level, BUT that’s more of a concern with lithium based batteries due to a number of factors. Sodium batteries use way more easily accessible and abundant materials.
NGL I’m hella fuckin hyped about sodium batteries vs lithium batteries.
Hell yeah
I can’t wait to see this headline again but about a bigger battery somewhere else
Voting without being politically active does do fuck all. But not voting ensures that the people you really don’t want to win can do so without any pushback.
I want to get off of Mr Bones Wild Ride
Seriously though this is why being politically active AND voting is God damned important.
It really is a beautiful country with a bunch of really beautiful landscapes, but unfortunately due to their government I wouldn’t dare go to it.
Kinda like Florida, beautiful state with a bunch of beautiful beaches and fantastic weather but due to political reasons I wouldn’t dare visit.
Edit: Spleling
Another reason to not go to China
It works great
Literally able to us the WiFi in a metal barn 50 yards away on the otherside of a garage
It doesn’t faff about
Mowing the field at her place my phone will stay connected to the WiFi basically the whole time, the only WiFi blind spot that I had to fix was on the far side of her property where there’s 2 metal barns, a garage, and a wall of her house between you and the broadcast equipment.
It’s a small farm and yeah it’s Ubiquiti hardware though I don’t think they sell it anymore. The last time I looked through their website I couldn’t find it again.
Though here’s the Amazon link
Basically this thing is located on one end of the property and on the other end there’s a nano station hooked up to a router because there was still a WiFi dead zone that she wanted covered. But given that that spot was inside a metal barn on the otherside of another metal barn I wasn’t surprised.
Hell the high power WiFi equipment‡ I installed at my Grandma’s house had warnings about keeping a few feet clear of it when powered on due to health concerns and that’s just WiFi equipment. I can’t imagine the dosage of gnarly from a 2m powered dish.
‡ I installed that equipment because she wanted WiFi on all 10 acres of her property and she didn’t want me to install more stations around her property. Now she has the broadcast equipment in her garage with a tape line on the floor like it’s a Goddamned radiation research facility lol
I’d so much love for webp support to increase
It’s so much better than sending jpegs to people
Oh yeah it was a typo but it was autocorrected weird, the keyboard on my phone has definitely been making some odd choices for corrections lately.
At least it’s better than search results via Google, those have gone to shit lately
Funnily enough my phone corrected it to Lazer when I typed laser the first time
Just another fun quirk of the Google keyboard on Android lately, autocorrecting words to the incorrect spelling
I second Linux Mint
I installed it on my Grandma’s PCs not too long ago and even she enjoys it. She’s almost 80.
We are having issues with her printer but it’s one that has known issues with Linux in general (it’s a fancy Epson laser printer, scanner, fax machine combo with bad Windows support) but I’m hoping to rectify that soon.
I would say the GUI reminds me more of Windows 7 than 10 which I really dig
Edit: spleling
Hold on… It’s not‽
TIL I need to re-up my geography knowledge
The world has changed a lot since I was in school (and our books were old AF then (some of my history books in the early 2000s referred to the civil rights movement as “growing tensions” lol))
