It’s more sci fi than fantasy but I greatly enjoyed both The Expanse series and The Three Body Problem books. The expanse is just good start to finish. TBP however requires a little bit of forgiveness, it’s a less than stellar translation from Chinese, it carries a lot of cultural baggage that gets lost in translation. But it gets better with each book
