In the USA taxes and titling cost different amounts depending on where you live. It’s easier to calculate once you buy, especially if you are buying in another state than the one you reside in which is a big problem in my state where dealers don’t stock EVs. You can calculate before you buy and each state usually has at least a chart to ballpark what you’ll pay. The easiest way to calculate these taxes would be to not levy them against people to begin with.
