AirVPN. I switched from proton a while ago because it was a pain to do port forwarding. AirVPN lets me have multiple ports forwarding with ease. And they take xmr as payment!
Don’t know how you do it but I just downloaded the config file from Proton and deploy stacks of the app I want to use port forwarding on + gluetun (which uses the conf file I mentioned). I don’t really see why a server being headless would complicate the process.

What was a part of it was a pain, exactly? I use port forwarding and have no issues.
There wasn’t a clear/easy way to do it on a headless server. Maybe they’ve improved the service since
