It was covered by another bedsheet, but because the cover folded in itself that was much harder to untangle and I had to turn a drier again. It took more time to post it here though ;)

I hate this so much. I’ve read that putting fitted sheets into garment bags makes them less likely to tangle
I stopped using fitted sheets. I hate this and folding them too. Instead I use the next size bigger top sheet for a bottom sheet.
That sounds even more annoying because it has to constantly get out of position and need fixing.
It tucks enough fabric underneath that it stays all week using “hospital corners”.
I saw someone comment using suspenders under the bed with regular sheets. Don’t remember what the parent post was but somehow it came up.
Yeah, you can get small elastic bands with clips on them just for this purpose.
I just pull the duvet cover off the blanket, leave it inside out, and button up the closures. Never had any issues after that.
Garmet bag for the sheets, though.
