I haven’t had frozen banana since the chocolate covered ones when I was a kid. I remember them being very hard. Maybe these weren’t in the freezer long enough to get that hard. Tasted like banana ice cream, but it was just banana.

When I don’t get through bananas and they get over-ripe, I freeze them (peeled). They’re perfect for banana pancakes, baking, smoothies, dessert, etc.
I literally just did that with a big bunch of bananas. Like, 45 seconds before I sat down and opened Lemmy. What an interesting coincidence.
They make for great banana bread; the riper the better
They’re so annoying to peel if they’re frozen in the peel. I much prefer to peel them first before freezing
