I got to hand cut the stringers. I measured everything out with a framing square. It was all very confusing and then it just clicked, so that’s nice.

Super cool. I’ve got a set of stairs I need to rebuild now. Not sure why but I worry I’ll mess them up.
Any tips for first timers, OP?
I watched a few videos on how it’s done. Just measure a bunch. My circular saw worked really well for cutting the stringers.
