Yep. My bidet in the master bathroom automatically opens and closes but we do have a soft close in the secondary. So nice.
I do have the problem now that when I use someone else’s bathroom, I either leave it open because mine closes itself, or I just tap it to close because of the soft close one at home so it slams closed.
I dislike soft closing seats because they come with soft closing lids. And soft closing lids close too slowly. So I need to hold down the lid with force while I flush, or poo microparticles will get all over the bathroom. I could just wait for the lid to close before I flush, but ain’t nobody got time for that.
Rookie…there are round and elongated (giggity), the kind that slam down and slow close, heated and padded. There are entire engineering classes dedicated to the human ass.
A toilet seat is a toilet seat, am I wrong? Unless it’s a bidet seat
You’re wrong, some are definitely more comfortable than others.
And the soft closing seats are a lifesaver! Every seat I install needs to be a soft closing seat now.

It’s embarrassing sometimes.

Courtesy flush while still seated. That’s a twofer (no pun intended)
