    For those who hesitate making the investment, portable squirt bottles for this purpose are available for less than $25.

      Vietnam has a good way of doing it. You just tee in one of those kitchen sink sprayer heads to the water supply. You could even tee it off from the bathroom sink warm water.

      Looks like the spray heads are $11-15, plus a hose and a tee fitting.

        India too. Lots of Asia went this route. “bum gun” where I’ve been. It was a real blessing when I got food poisoning.

        Same goes for Thailand, definitely a good cheap option if you got the angle right. Messy otherwise. Always do a pressure check into the bowl if it’s a public toilet…
