This is a shitpost? Seems like a LPT as a useful, quick approximation, since the real formula is “subtract 32, divide by 9/5”. 30≈32, and 2≈9/5, as long as you’re figuring out what to wear for the day, not working in a chemistry lab. (Don’t burn your meth, fer gawdsakes!)

For 32°F, the approximation is 1°C, and even where the scales align at -40°, it works out to -35°C.

Honestly, no, I don’t want an easy way to convert.

    I generally dislike temperatures.

Is this true? If so, I like it a lot.

Is it a lie, hence a shit post? If so, I must cleanse my mind again.

I’m going to have to do the math, aren’t i? And verify whether or not it’s true…

No it’s not true, though it is a close approximation. Another has the actual formula, but the proof that it’s incorrect is that 32°F = 0°C, while (32-30)/2 = 1.

The actual formula is subtract 32 and multiply by 5/9.
But this is a lot easier, and is very close for all temps you’ll encounter as weather.
