People familiar with Microsoft's plans say that the company moving to streamline or remove certain Copilot integrations across in-box apps like Notepad and Paint in 2026, after pushback from users.
I think it will come back. Given that its using a system notification to suggest an app that is suggested to me in every app I open, pinned to my taskbar, pinned to my start menu and built into my keyboard.

I believe I used it on reddit, long ago but there were no ads. I was surprised since no other client I know of has them (and no lemmy server has ads).
