From Owl Rescue Centre
We took a 700 km trip this morning to go rescue this big baby budgie after his nesting palm tree came tumbling down. We currently have another young female in rehab, so they can grow up and be released together. Hopefully, they’ll pair up and find the perfect home right here on our sanctuary 😉

It’s a bit like the reality tv where they give their choice a partner a rose, but they offer them a nice snack instead. That, I’d tune in for!

I think they get to keep the whole thing! Even better for her.
I was told they think our GHO Elliott may actually be female because sometimes during the dating season someone drops offerings at the aviary on occasion.
