Granted, most of the crowd you performed for are indeed just like us. The people who paid you are not. That’s a vitally important difference, and losing sight of that distinction is the first step towards becoming what you hate.

I’m so lost . . how does someone that level-headed all of sudden support the Arabian monarchy? I mean, Even someone as beloved as Jackie Chan traded his soul for a corrupt government, that being the CCP, but man, how did he lose the plot?
But to be fair, I have said in the past, if someone offered me life changing money but I had to trade my dignity to do so, I probably would, because I’m not famous, so at least I could be hideous in private, whereas these comedians and celebrities can be called out and have their careers ruined if they make the wrong choices.
